The platform provides sales process software, and is headquartered in San Francisco, California, with main offices in St. Petersburg, Russia. The content ranges from the creation and collection of electronic signatures and payments related to contracts, proposals and forms to invoices; and PandaDoc users are very varied, including construction, education, medical and professional services companies, with a total of 30,000 customers.
PandaDoc includes functions for creating, tracking and executing documents, as well as functions for electronic signatures. It competes with companies such as DocuSign, Eversign, DocSend, GetAccept and others. Its contract management product is one of the most popular on the market, and PandaDoc states that its electronic signature solution is one of the three main ones in terms of ubiquity.

But when was PandaDoc founded? The company was founded in 2013 by Mikita Mikado and Serge Barysiuk. The two entrepreneurs had previously worked together at a software development company in Belarus. After seeing the need for a better document management system in the market, they decided to create their own solution.
Since then, PandaDoc has grown exponentially. In 2014, it received its first round of funding from venture capital firm Point Nine Capital. In 2015, it raised $15 million in Series A funding from Runa Capital. In 2016, it raised $25 million in Series B funding from Sigma Prime Ventures. In 2018, it raised $50 million in Series C funding from Insight Venture Partners.
